Microsoft has decided to roll out a new feature for Xbox users who sign up for an Xbox Live account, and it seems like it could be something that might come in handy for some of the console’s more niche features.
The new account will be available on Xbox, the PC, and on the Xbox App.
It will be tied to a new Xbox app called Xbox Live Game Pass, and will be accessible on any console with an Xbox account, including Xbox One.
That includes PCs, smartphones, tablets, and TVs, and Xbox One has access to a bunch of popular games, including games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Dead Rising, and Destiny.
The Xbox App can also be used to launch a game from a browser, and the new account has access on the PC and Xbox App to play games on Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, and Windows 10 IoT devices.
There are a couple of caveats with this new account, however.
The account is only available to people who have already signed up for the Xbox app.
Microsoft says that this is to protect its existing Xbox Live users from potentially losing access to games.
If you’re already a member of Xbox Live and sign up with the new Xbox account after signing up for Xbox, you will still be able to use the account.
If you’ve signed up with an existing Xbox account and have a new one, the new one will still allow you to play the same games, and you’ll still have access to some of those games from that Xbox account.
You can sign up and play a few more games at a time from the Xbox account if you want, though the new feature will only work on the console you have signed up on.
You’ll also be able continue to sign up to the Xbox Live app from your old account.
Microsoft isn’t saying exactly when this new Xbox Live feature will arrive for the console, but the company has previously said it’ll be coming later this year.
That means if you’ve already signed in with the Xbox One and are currently in the process of signing up, it’ll likely be a few months before the new features are available.
