Netflix has officially confirmed the first official title of the new Minecraft game, Minecraft: The Movie, which is set to premiere on July 20.
The title is now up on Netflix, and it’s a bit of a surprise given how far along the title is, as Netflix has been teasing the title since it was announced back in August.
The game will be made by Mojang, which has been working on a variety of titles, including the upcoming The Simpsons: Tapped Out, and its first title, The Elder Scrolls: The Elder Kings: Legends.
It will also include the “New Minecraft” series of games.
“Minecraft: The movie is now officially on Netflix.
The movie trailer was revealed back in July and we’re thrilled to finally share it with our friends and fans.
We can’t wait to show everyone the movie and get the word out to Minecraft fans around the world,” Netflix president and COO Ted Sarandos said in a statement.
Netflix has previously teased that the title will be “not just a movie, but a television series, too,” which makes it a little bit of an odd choice for the title, since the game is not yet on the streaming service.
That being said, the title may well be a trailer, rather than a film, which would give it more leeway to launch the title on Netflix without being seen by anyone else.
This will be the first new Minecraft title to launch on Netflix in over a year, which means it’s going to be the biggest of the bunch.
The new title will launch with a number of Minecraft titles, which will be added to the service over time.
There are no other details on the title right now, but it’s still a pretty big announcement.
The title was first revealed in late June, when it was revealed that the film would premiere on Netflix on July 19.
It’s not yet clear whether this is a new title, or a prequel, which Netflix could then launch with, or whether this will be a standalone title.
