The Washington Post is warning that people trying to sign up for PayPal accounts will have to enter their credit card information.
PayPal accounts have long been the most common form of payment for the tech-savvy, but the company’s new policy means that if someone tries to open a new account with them, the PayPal account will be rejected.
“Our goal is to protect your personal information in a way that helps you make informed choices and to protect our customers’ financial safety.
PayPal is not able to disclose customer information to third parties.”
