The US-based software giant has hired 100 more employees as it struggles to cope with the widespread hack that exposed more than 10 million accounts.
The hiring of the 100 people, which includes contractors and other contractors, comes after Microsoft announced earlier this month it was hiring 5,500 people over the next year, a figure that did not include contractors.
Microsoft said on Monday it had hired at least 3,500 contractors and contractors hired in February to help the company’s cloud services business.
Microsoft has been forced to hire contractors in a time of increased cybersecurity attacks and high-profile breaches.
Microsoft is also hiring more people to help with its cybersecurity operations.
The firm has been working with contractors in the wake of the data breach to secure its cloud computing services.
